Characters can advance levels by gaining experience points which can be achieved in different ways such as killing monsters or taking up quests.

Player VS Monster
1. Level Differences
     - Hunting low level monsters with differences of 10 or more levels will not give players any Experience Points.
     - Players gain Experience Points by hunting monsters with higher level monsters.
     - Players will not get Items from monsters if the monster’s level is 20 or more levels higher than the player’s        current level.
     - Players get Experience Points by killing Monsters with higher level monsters.
     - Level difference is determined base on player’s level.

2. Punishment
     - Experience points are reduced by 5% if players are killed by monsters.

3. Monster's color varies with the level of player
     - If a monster’s level is 10 or more levels lower than the player; the monster’s name is colored ‘black’.
     - If a monster’s level is 10 or more levels higher than the player; the monster’s name is colored ‘red’.
     - If the level difference is less than 10: the monster’s name is colored ‘pink’.

Quests
Quests or missions provide rewards, including experience.
You can get quests by talking to NPCs with bright yellow symbols
above their head.
Moreover, these NPCs will appear on the mini-map if map is not
zoomed out.
